Hello fellow heart valve patients! I need somebody to bounce questions off of as I get ready for my imminent surgery. I am a 35yr old male and discovered about three weeks ago that I need a 2nd surgery. My first open heart was at ~3weeks after being born. I was born with CBV and AS. Now the repairs and the valve are calcified. I would appreciate input from all, but especially if your surgery was around same age in your life (30-40). Thanks in advance.
