I was told today I need mitral valve surgery and am wondering where to go in southern CA. I am looking for a second opinion regarding surgery. Thank you very much for any recommendations. It's definitely a lot to take in.

Dr. Alfredo Trento - Cedars Sinai. You definitely want to do a little research - he's very experienced. Best of luck.

Carol, I just read Carolos Anders' story. He went to the USC Hospital. Not sure where that is in relation to you.
