Its been three years plus since my mitral valve repair. Still going strong, running, swimming and hiking. Going in for my yearly check-up next week and for some reason anxiety is rearing its ugly head. I'm so very grateful to have found this community before my surgery. Thank you everyone... Read more.

I get a little anxious prior to my cardiologist check up also. It is hard not to think about the unpleasant possibilities …Happy Thanksgiving, and hope you have a great checkup!
