About Me (In My Own Words)
I had my aortic valve replaced by open heart surgery on 18th May 2022. I am progressing quite well but having some chest pain and tightness. The procedure was fairly brutal and I didn't expect to feel so ill afterwards. Now 5 weeks later I sm feeling a lot better but still very tired. Just wondering when I will start feeling more like I used to. I am 78 but normally pretty active. Would welcome comments from others who have undergone this procedure
