About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am a 31 year-old Occupational Therapist living in Cincinnati, OH. I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve which wasn't discovered until my pediatrician heard my heart murmur when I was 2. Then about 10 years ago an aneurysm started to develop in my ascending aorta. I always knew I would need surgery at some point in my life to fix my heart, and it turns out that time is now. I will be having the Ross Procedure as well having my ascending aorta replaced. Any advice would be appreciated!
