Robert L. (Bob)'s Profile

I am JoAnn, Bob's wife of 24yrs & will be writing this journal. Bob was very, very ill when his tricuspid valve failure was diagnosed in October 2009. His history dates to 2006 experiencing shortness of breath & coughing. In 2006 he survived a head on motorcycle accident with a pick-up truck due to heat stroke & became bed-bound for 8 months. Bob was than treated for allergy & lung issues with steroids & antibiotics. In March 2009 a chect x-ray revealed CHF. In June 2009 he broke his ankle and was referred for cardioligy evaluation & had ultrasound RA & RV right side enlargement The catheterization confirmed tricuscid valve regurgitation. Sleep Apnea was confirmed.
