About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. It wasn't diagnosed until 2013 I was told it was more annoying than dangerous. In 2015, I decided to join a gym to get in better shape, after doing intervals on the treadmill, I passed out for a few seconds. I then went to my family physician who referred me to a cardiologist. Severe stenosis was the diagnosis. After this I should be able to be more active for the rest of my life.
