"Dr Lawrie is very confidence inspiring and calming. His specialty is valves, both repair and replacement. He is somehow able to make you feel at ease and positive about your surgery. Excellent bedside manner and 2+ months into my recovery and so far, so good. "

"Dr Lawrie is the best in my opinion. His years of experience, cheerful nature and ability to take the time to explain clearly the condition and procedure required was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing heart surgery."

"I truly can not say enough about Dr. Lawrie and his staff -- in particular Boris and Jennifer! I was shocked to have to do this procedure, and it was overwhelming to say the least. Dr Lawrie was very confident and I trusted him from the moment I laid eyes on him. He is the best, and I will be eternally grateful to him!"

"Dr. Lawrie exudes confidence and I felt completely comfortable with him as my surgeon. I only met with him once before surgery and he came in the morning of the surgery to discuss the procedure again. He came in each day I was in ICU but only for a couple of minutes. I did have some complications with my surgery and wanted to ask him some questions while in general post-op. Unfortunately, I did not see him the last 4+ days I was in the hospital. A little more hands-off than I would have liked."

"I cannot state how positive my experience was. From my first meeting with Dr. Lawrie, he inspired confidence. He and his team made a difficult experience as pleasant and stress free as it could have been. Due to his use of the DaVinci system, my recovery was rapid and complete."

"Minimally invasive aortic valve replacement. Dr. Lawrie has an exceptional bedside manner and is a world-class physician in a world-class facility. My family and I highly recommend him. He came as the top recommendation from a thoracic surgeon (family friend) in Houston as the surgeon he would pick for a family member or himself. Nurses, everyone we ran into, consistently sang his praises not only as a surgeon but person. The Methodist Hospital is also excellent. Extremely happy with my choice of a minimally invasive procedure (less trauma, pain, risk of infection, and faster recovery). http://www.geraldlawriemd.com/biography.html "

"He was always smiling. He seemed happy to be able to operate on me with the daVinci robot. He explained briefly what would happen. The rest of his team (PA,anesthesiologist,OR nurses) were great. Very difficult to find because my cardiologist(s) would not recommend robot surgery."
