I was diagnosed in November of last year with mitral value prolapse and my cardiologist decided I needed to repair sooner than later.
I was referred to Dr. Lee Hafen at Baylor, Scott, White in Plano, Texas. He repaired the P2 leaflet of my mitral on November 15,2023 with a da Vinci Robotic surgery procedure. I recovered in ICU with the 2 floor Cardiac team at BSW. Dr. Hafen and his team and all the team members of the 2nd floor are truly awesome.
