I had severe bicuspid aortic valve dx in 2020 along with HTN . Never had symptoms but rapidly progressed and AVR was strongly recommended this yr . After much debate I opted for Onyx Valve at age 55 . Did well and went home 12-10
Recovering well getting on My Warfarin but had brief afib issue transient 12/30
Getting better great surgeon and care
Nearly 6 months have past doing great been back to work fulltime since February and feel very good with energy no more issues. Got the Coumadin under control and BP. Looking forward to full energy life here on out. The Valve is great!
