About Me

My leaky aortic valve has been followed for several years (I'm 73) and the dilated aortic root has now enlarged to 4.9cm. Noticeable chest discomfort and fatigue after much less exertion took me to the ER last Thursday where EKG, Nuclear Stress and Echo confirmed the deterioration. Seeing my cardiologist this week to discuss a surgeon and hospital. I am nervous.
