About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed in Feb. 2022, with a negative result EKG done at my PCP office on a yearly physical being performed. I was recommended to see a cardiologist. He in turn performed nuclear stress test, that resulted showing no blockages anywhere. Next came an MRI performed , that showed the aneurysm measuring 1.5 ... in turn I was told to refer to a heart surgeon. Dr Lawrie, ordered a CTA scan with contrast. It confirmed the aneurysm. Per instructions of Dr Lawrie, we were to monitor the growth of the aneurysm and upon it reaching 1.7, we would proceed with surgery. On or about June 6th. the CTA scan was being performed again for the third time and it showed the 1.7 growth. At this point it was decided to follow through with surgery. Surgery was 100% success...this Friday, July 15th, 2022 will be 4 weeks ago that I had my surgery.
