About Me (In My Own Words)
I had a mitral (bio) valve replacement due to severe mitral regurgitation. Now after 4 years, I have severe mitral stenosis with initial calcification of one of the cusps… due to a blood clot apparently. Almost no symptoms… “on watch and wait” mode for now but with likely new surgery coming up soon… on blood thinners only at the moment. Looking for info on best next step (VinV, best new valve to consider…).
