About Me (In My Own Words)
After injuring my shoulder working out I went to my doctor. Given my age, 45, he wanted to listen to my heart as well. He noticed a murmur and, given my age, he felt it best to have an Echo done. I did the Echo about a week or so later and a few days after that he informed me I needed to see a Cardiologist because the results showed Moderate to Severe Aortic Stenosis. After meeting with my Cardiologist it became apparent that is exactly what I may have. I am now in the "acceptance phase" of my condition and am looking to learn as much as I can.
