About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with Tetrology of Fallot and had two open heart surgeries to repair my congenital condition. I have lived with no limitations or medications and Tetrology was fully repaired.
Over the past two years, I began to develop symptoms related to pulmonary regurgitation and underwent a full evaluation by Dr. Marlon Rosenbaum at Columbia Medical Center's Adult Congential Heart Clinic.
A cardiac MRI and holter monitor reveled that I was in full Atrial Flutter which was corrected by a Cardiac Catheter Ablation performed by Dr. William Wang. Further Cardiac Catherizations revealed a significant enlargement of my right ventricle and pulmonary stenosis.
