About Me (In My Own Words)
This journey of my heart started in 2000 when Drs told me that I had a heart mummer or leaky valve. That there was nothing to do about it until it got bad or caused issues.
In October of 2022 I turned 65 and it was time to get a complete check up or wellness visit. My primary Dr Seema decided to have an Echocardiogram done to check on the mummer. It was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving. Being a person who believes and leans on God I went to my October appointment with the understanding that whatever I needed to go through I wasn’t in it alone. The Echo showed that it was time. Things were calcifying together.
In January 2023 I met with Dr. Gerdisch to discuss options. The only issue that I noticed was that I tired easier. The operation was set for May 2, 2023. Between January and May I looked up the Heart Center South of Indy and Dr. Gerdisch. I knew that I trusted God to be with me through this but to my amazement God had connected me with the Best, Top Heart Surgeon.
I live in a county in Indiana that doesn’t even have one Red light in the whole county. How else but through God would I ever have that kind of opportunity. I am very thankful to God, Dr. Gerdisch and his team for a new valve.
Grateful from Warren County Indiana.
