About Me (In My Own Words)
I've never been a runner. I always thought I just didn't have what it took to be a runner even though I've always been psychically fit. In the winter of 2005, at the age of 18, I was seen for bronchitis and walked away with a referral to a cardiologist. A few weeks later I was diagnosed with Aortic insufficiency with a bicuspid valve. Recently I found out that the time has come for the replacement. I have no clue what to expect.
