About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 61 years old, and am recovering from Heart Valve replacement surgery, mitraclip of the LAA, and maze procedure. Last December I was admitted to the hospital with Congestive Heart Failure due to severe mitral valve regurgitation. So within six weeks I had my surgery!
I wish I found this website before I had the surgery, it has been so informative.
I am currently in Cardiac Rehabilitation. My goal is to return to work, and work with a therapist about my depression. All I can say is this is a gift, the gift of life.
