Hi Sonya, Yes! I have been diagnosed with Milignant Arrthymogenic bileaflet Mitral Valve Prolaose Syndrome. There are not many of us out there so I am surprised to see you, welcome ! 🙂 My story is similar to yours. I also have an ICD implanted and have some dangerous arrhythmias and runs of non-sustained VT. I was suppose to have surgery next week to repair my mitral valve, but I also have Long QT which is an electrical issue and poses even more risks with surgery. I am not able to take an anti-arrthymic meds because they can put me in cardiac arrest and the Anesthesia for surgery also poses a risk for me so I am in limbo right now. I experience episodes of extreme dizziness, palpitations, chest pain and shortness of breath on a daily basis. Thankfully I have not had a shock from my ICD yet. Hoping you can have the surgery to fix your severe registration and hoping that once you have the surgery it will eliminate the electrical issues too!
