This is Rita, could not figure out how to continue posting so I will try this.. I am 70 days out of surgery I had a stroke during surgery but after PC OT an SP that seems fine. My problem now is still having lots of pain. Went thru the sternum and man it still hurts I am going to cardio rehab and always tired. Am I the only one?

Your fatigue and pain could be internal fluid buildup. Have you had cardiologist or surgeon check you for that. My recovery roommate was there after 2 months from open heart surgery and had this happen. He mentioned about walking to his backyard shed, he walked only 30 feet to it and had to sit down for 10 minutes to recover for walk back.

Susan Lynn The pain should have subsided by now, but the lack of energy can linger. Did you go to cardiac rehab? If not, i highly recommend you give it a try. I think it improved my endurance. Best of luck to you.
