Wow Patty we have sooo much in common!! my name is Bob Christiansen and I have a sister and her name is Patti !!! And I almost Died because my Aorta Ripped and my Corrodic Artery Snaped in HALF!!! and I had a massive inslut to my Brain with a lot of damage and I was in a comma for 13 days. My Wife and I were told back then that only 3 to 5 % live threw this.I was one in the past 40 years Most die in bed or on the operating table. Before this all happen I was a pro Photographer & Videographer for 25 years. oh the last thing is when I woke up from the comma I had to relearn how to walk again and that was on Christmas day!! anyway please go to google and type in my name and you will see my story!! Before I go Patti I not only know your pain but I know about the good bad and the ugly about meds and what you have to go threw with side effects, Patti try to keep positive in your out look on life because that has help me live thru this Very Serious Illness that I have gone threw and you also, I know you know this because the doctors tell you this and that is the bad 4 letter word TIME it will take time, but guess what at least your doctor was able to catch it before it took you awy from your familey and friends in my case I was an adit walker and cross country runner when this all came down on me. Today I do a lot of walking. Hi Patty, This is the first I have heard about this, I am so flat you are recovering and the surgery went well. I am so glad you found a great cardiologist. I believe mine was not the best, I found out last week I had a minor heart attack probably sometime before my stent. Three visits to the hospital they never found out. Anyways I am grateful we are all doing well, our family wishes you a fast and speedy recovery. Take care The Pittmans

Hi Patty, I just caught up with everything. I think it is wise to rest and heal! You have always been smart at taking care of yourself. I do understand that feeling of not being able to do fun things or just go back to the normal life. Love ya, Keep taking it slow!

Thanks for the update. It is good to hear that there is progress and it is great that you recognize the progress. You are getting well and that\'s what matters most. Isn\'t the body amazing? Stay strong.

So glad to hear you are able to do a few things to feel like you are getting back to your old self. Laundry is definitely one of them! Time will pass by. I know right now it feels like it is taking forever, but soon this will just be a memory... Lots of love, Diane

Hi Patty, I am mother to Karen Celestino Schroeder. Your adventure has been very interesting for I am headed for Aortic Valve replacment, I am 79 and not looking forward and scared for never was in hospital except for two babies. Your journal was a learning for me with info your family entered day by day and hour by hour till you got home. Thanks Mary Celestino
