Just dropping by to say hi and hope you are continuing to improve. How's the walking going? Are you getting a good spring there yet? I have family who own a large farm outside of Regina. As we are so much further south we are enjoying a wonderful spring. Hoping it keeps up. Wishing you well.
Good Morning Kim
Sounds like you're well on the road to recovery! Amazing how many advances have been made with valve surgery through the years. March 18th I had a bovine mitral valve and a tricuspid repair. Was told the tissue valves have been lasting 15-20 years and when the time comes for a replacement they should be doing them through the groin!!!! Continue to do well.
I find it so odd when you hear about some of these micro surgeries how they get to the heart through the opposite side. Obviously it is the easiest route - just seems odd. That type of surgery wasn't an option to me so I never researched it. I appreciate your note about the tissue valve. We are always learning something new on this site. Wishing you continued good luck on your healing.
Glad you have come through your second surgery well and wishing you good luck on your recovery. Guess there were no surprises for you. Were your fifteen years full recovery and then the valve broke down?
