Hi Kelly Marie, There are no words that I can say that will ease your anxiety. But rest assure that you are not alone. Others have gone before you, and have gone on to live a long and healthy life. My late wife had multiple heart surgeries. She had her mitral and aortic valves replaced. I guess the hardest part for her was trying to fall within a normal INR warfarin range. Unfortunately, she had to have a mitral valve repair/replaced a few times, and contracted an infection along the way. Blood cultures drawn and placed on heavy duty antibiotics was the norm for her a couple of times. However, not all patients go through this. Some patients heal differently, while others face an upward climb. I pray that you will heal quickly, and that our God has you in the palm of His hand, not only making sure that nothing goes wrong in OR, but that your surgeons will perform this operation without setbacks/problems. I ask you to place your entire trust in the Lord. He promised that if you seek Him, and ask Him to come into your heart, that He will not forsake nor abandon you. He is true to His word, and will make sure that your operation will run smoothly.
