Thanks for the update on your progress, June. Similar to your reaction to the cardiologist, I found myself saying to the Orthpedic doctor, thank you for giving me my life back for that is exactly what you did.
Love, Barb Duncan
June, I can understand that you wanted to
give your surgen a big hug because he did
indeed hold your heart in his hands. Thanks
be to God for the skills that He gave this
wonderful man. It would be nice if it
cooled down so you could be outside more.
What a wonderful recuperation! And, congratulations on leaving those unpleasant compression hose behind! It certainly would have been a nice closure to have met with your cardiologist, but the outstandingly good news of completing this step of this journey is still mighty sweet.
June, I'm thrilled to know that you are at home and getting better each day. Any time you want a walking partner I'll be more than happy to oblige. I did Zumba for an hour today. I'm trying to stay healthy any way I can. I'm sure Jim is an excellent caregiver. Please take it slowly and know we are all rooting for you. The prayers help too. My best to you. Kim
Congratulations on a big milestone.. When I finally got the news thet today was discharge day it adds a big adrenaline rush. Then by the end of the days activities, and the energy needed you are drained by the time you get home, but you are home none the less. Rest.. keep using your spirometer, and keep walking..
Great news, June. Home is where you'll do your best healing surrounded by family and friends. Being in one's own environment makes a big difference. Remember not to over do. Rest, walk, eat well, plenty of liquids and use your spirometer. That's my advice and I'm sticking to it.
Omigosh! What great news! You earlier hoped for Saturday or Sunday and here you are at home earlier than expected. We are so happy for you and know that your recuperation will proceed even faster now that you are home.
So happy to hear you are back at home. Wonderful news. God is so good. What a journey you have been on. This website is great to keep us all up to date. Now rest, take care and continue to heal. You are so loved by so many...
June, sorry to hear about your toe infection and heart valve surgery. It does sound like you are doing remarkably well and on the road to recovery. I'm sure the prayers, love and support of family and friends has helped you immensely. It has been said that along with the troubles we go through there are gifts as well. Hope you are able to appreciate the gifts also. May you be surrounded by God's grace and healing in the coming days. Peace, Joan Golland
June, We just returned yesterday from 6 1/2 wks. in Florida. I was on my computer once in all that time. So today is the first I've heard of the situation with your heart. It sounds as if you are doing quite well. Thank God for that. It is good news. You will be in my prayers and home soon hopefully. Kim Darling
Congratulations on getting into a new room.
You are making real progress. It is wonderful that you have a target date to
think about coming home. As you already know. home will look soooooo good to you.
I continue to give thanks to God for the
healing that has taken place and will take
place in the future. I am so proud of you
and so thankful to God.
Hooray! Thank you for the good news. I will continue to pray for your healing. This journal is so good. Thank you for having this. You can't imagine how much peace I can have by getting your update. Thank you!
May God's abundant blessing be with you, your family, your friends near and far today and forever! God is good!
Love, Pastor SungJa
June, I can't believe you were up and walking around your room before you went to the"normal/regular" room. You are awesome!!We are still sending good healing thoughts and prayers to you. This journal is wonderful for all of us pulling for you. Keep up the good work-we are so proud of you. Susie Greene
Very excited to hear that you are headed to a "normal' room. Congratulations on the walks! That is great, great news. This all is definitely not a cake walk and you are doing so wonderfully well, bolstered, of course, by your wonderful family and your faith.
Hi! So very happy to read that you have
new news and you will be going to a regular
room. I hope you will be feeling just a little stronger each day as you move around
more. Take care and I will talk to you
Your journal sounds so upbeat. I can't imagine your good spirit. This e-mail journal is a fabulous idea. Thank you so very much for your personal thank-you 'phone call to Lynn. I can't tell you how much that meant to her.
We'll keep learning about the wonderful advances made in heart health, and keep reading your day-to-day journal.
June - It's so good to read your "progress report" and to know that everything is going so well. John and I look forward to seeing you at church in the near future and sharing a fellowship lunch with you after church.
June - As Jim knows, the whole NICEA group is praying for your speedy recovery. God bless you in your continued hard work--now in PT and getting back on your feet, and after you're back in fighting trim, in your many ministries of Christian service. IHS, John Juergensmeyer
How happy and thankful I am that you are
making such good progress. It was so so
wonderful to speak with you yesterday. It
is so great that you are doing so much better
each day and your progress is encouraging to
everyone. It is obvious that the hands of
our God really guided your surgery and we
give thanks for the healing. LOve Jeanne
So sorry to hear of your heart troubles but it sounds like you are in excellent hands and are making a good recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Also prayers from the members of our church.
I have a leaky Mitral Valve but so far my condition is moderate, my cardiologist is monitoring the situation. I will eventually need surgery when and if the problem becomes more severe. Amazing what they can do to correct problems with the heart!
We wish you a speedy recovery and steady progress each day.
John and Betsy
