Debbie Chatzky  Hi Marianne. My surgery was May 31st. I’m holding on to fluid around my belly. Very uncimfortable with my incision. How did you manage fluid retention?

Jennifer Allen  Hi Gregory,
My heart cath is actually scheduled for tomorrow and my surgery is on June 11. Dr. Pettijohn, my cardiologist, is doing my heart cath and I know it’s not through the arm. I am not sure who assist Dr. Ryan I’m assuming I’ll find out on June 11.

Gregory Brummett  I thought it would be Pettijohn for my cath but Dr. Ryan said Dr. Sameh Sayfo would do my cath. It's not scheduled yet though......let me know when you discover who assists Dr. Ryan in surgery. Best wishes and good luck!

Gina Fiorentino  Hi Jennifer, I just recently went through mitral valve repair about 11 weeks ago. I have learned through this site that most people feel a lot of concern, fear and emotional jolts when this type of health news has been delivered. I followed her method in the relaxation MP3 before surgery, during surgery and after surgery... with great results.

Jennifer Allen  Thank you, I will have to look for her book. I am extremely nervous, but it’s nice to have a group of people that can relate to what you’re going through. How are you feeling to date?
