I am doing great. No new problems. I feel really well and I am back to running and playing tennis again. Not very well, just playing. Hard to believe that it has been over 10 months for me as well. I trust that all is well with you and your family. Take care and God Bless Buddy. Maybe we could get together here before too long.
Way to go, Jeff!! I want to be on your recovery schedule. I was feeling a bit down this afternoon because my family went to another baseball game (Go, Angels!). But, you inspired me to relax and slow it down more.
I'll be right behind......
Hi Uncle Jeff! Glad to hear that post-surgery life is going well! Hope it only continues to get better and I look forward to the next time that I get to see you. The photographer from the wedding is being super slow, but I'm pretty sure she got some shots with you guys in it! I'll send them you're way when I get them.
My angio is tomorrow at St. E in Edgewood. Hopefully that is the last step before surgery. Not to worried about it. Just can't run of play tennis for a few days. My AC has been out since Sunday. It's freaking sweltering as you know. I bought a portable job at Home Depot and we have been living in the basement since Sunday. I hope that you are doing well. Sounds like you're doing great. Keep me posted.
ALWAYS A BIT SCARRY, ABOUT COMMUNICATION, EVEN IN THE BEST OF PLACES. SURGERY IS USUALLY THE EASY PART. POST OP CARE AND GOOD COMMUNICATION IS THE CHALLANGE.
BEST REGARDS, AND QUICK COMPLETE RECOVERY
FRANK YUPPA M.D.
Keep on moving and looking forward....hope the suspected infection is looked after and you are home soon!
I am coming up on my second "birthday" at the end of this month for the same surgery and enjoy every minute, a step back or forward!
Sorry to hear about the latest little set-back. Better to find it now and correct it so you can keep moving forward. I caught up on the journal postings last night, wow, you are a lucky hombre my friend! You remain in my thoughts and prayers. I'll get out for a visit as soon as my work grants me a 1 day pass outa here this place. Call or write if you need anything!
Hi Laura and Jeff.
This is Kent Kersey's wife, Terri writing. We certainly know how you feel about the roller coaster that is recovery. Like you, we feel blessed that we are in a place where they can watch it, catch it, and take care of it with expediency. Praying that this new dip in the ride is corrected quickly and that your recovery continues in the positive direction you've seen so far!! We're following your progress!
:-) Terri Kersey
Jeff, I am in Cincy today for the reds game. I noticed the billboards for your hospital. Would love to stop and see you but I remember what the first few days were like. Hang in there and get out soon. Hope your hospital food is better than mine! Jon F
I will stop over tomorrow after rounds if that is okay with you. I look forward to meeting you. BTW. I met with an oral surgeon today about my wisdom teeth. After careful inspection of my x ray and mouth, he suggested that I leave them alone and not take them out. I guess the barber didn't think I needed a haircut after all. LOL Hopefully will see you tomorrow unless I get crazy in the hospital tomorrow.
Been there on what you call the "Dark Side of the Moon" when I had my valve replacement. It is very surreal. I was very aware of things going on around me when many thought I was out of it...hang in there...it get's better...alot better! Keep in there tickin'!
