oh Jan, She was so excited about going home, I'm so sorry there has been this setback. Hopefully it will be a minor one and things can keep moving forward so she can get back home soon. Keeping her my prayers.
Great news, you're making great progress, hope you are encouraged. These surgeries we have really take a toll on our bodies. On the 18th it will be the one year anniversary of my valve surgery and it's been quite a year. I wish you a speedy rehab so you can get home again.
Jean so much exciting happy news! In a short time you will be home enjoying your
surprising homecoming renovation! I can feel
all the love and support surrounding you and
that is making everything good just speed things up.
Sending prayers and cyberhugs!
That is such great news!! She must be so proud of herself as well she should be. As for her room redo, I'm sure she'll love it. Can't wait to see how beautiful it looks! You guys are the best kids a mom could ever have. Love, Rita
Jean -- great news and congrats an all of your success with PT, transferring etc! I went bonkers with just 5 days of confinement after my hip replacement in '04. I can not even fathom your extended stay! Keep up the good work -- looking forward to your email missives from "home". Keep on pushing Girl Friend !!
Just checked out your latest pic and you look terrific! Somehow it just feels good sometimes to have "real" clothes on, doesn't it? Love the outifit. I'm so happy that your recovery is going so well and that the rehab place is soooo lovely. Love, Rita :-)))))
I just got a chance to check out your newest photo. You ladies look fantastic! : ) I know that it's been a long journey for you, but don't get discouraged and keep up the good work. Remember....slow and steady wins the race! You'll soon be home.
Much love, Karen
Jean -- You are looking awesome! Keep up the good work and soon you'll be hitting those 'puter keys with lightning speed !! LOL !!
Life here in the flatlands of Illinois continues to be hectic without much rest. Bob is still working more hours than any human should be asked to do -- and he's salaried -- so you know that old story. The agency continues to be a challenge - just have to keep on pushing -- and pushing HARD to keep the cash flow up where it needs to be.
Our weather remains typical Illinois Winter -- the damp 25 degree cold is a killer. We have no problem with the dry below zero stuff -- but tham damp stuff -- well it's a real killer.
Had the scouts over Friday night -- built snow shelters and slept in them wilderness style. We were all real comfy in our sleeping bags -- it was getting up in the AM that proved challengin !!!! But we conquered that with a big breakfast of biscuits and gravy!! Guess you can tell I'm fighting off this geriatric time in my life with a vengenance !! Will be 68 in May and I am afrais if I slow down -- well I'll never get back up and move again !!
So take care of yourself!! We are all so proud of you !!
You do look fantastic now that you have had soe time to heal. We are glad Jan had a chance to spend some time to visit you. She is a wonderful daughter isn't she? We really enjoyed seeing her when she came to Phx a few months ago. Our prayers are for you to continue to get better and can go home soon!
Your Arizona friend Linda
So good to hear such good news from Jan! Just keep plugging along and you'll be home in no time. It is hard work but the payoff is so wonderful. I wish I could get myself to work harder on getting into shape. LOL
Miss you online like we all do but I know you'll be back soon. Thanks to Jan and Pat for keeping us so well informed. I think this forum is really great.
Hi Jean! Glad to hear you are spending more and more time up in a chair and out of bed. That will help move things along, definitely. We got socked with this latest storm...22.5 inches in my front yard as we speak! It's crazy.
We miss you and love you, keep up the good work!
Hi Jean! I think about you so much, and have been keeping you in my prayers. It is always so great to get your updates. It is COLD here in Pennsylvania! How about I send some your way? :) I miss you online, but know you'll be back with us soon.
Much love always,
