Rita Savelis This field is really new so doctors/surgeons will be watching you closely and there will be steps (meds) in place to take if you have a reaction. One can also have an alpha gal reaction to heparin (the anticoagulant that is often used during surgery, derived from pork) as well. Again, you will be watched closely. Wishing you the best.
