Diana Kincaid  Hi, thank you and I just celebrated two years on Jan 15 since my mitral and tricuspid valve repair surgery. I had my ablation done at Mount Sinai. The EP team there who has a lot of expertise in the area of PVC ablation which can be quite tricky if you have the type of papillary muscle scarring I have from decades of Barlow's mitral valve prolapse. My recent Holter monitor shows the PVC burden has crept back up a little bit, so I am headed back soon for a second ablation but remain optimistic as it is not unusual to need more than one procedure to hopefully "do the trick" for the longer term.

Diana Kincaid  Hi Adam, and thank you! Dr. David Adams from Mt. Sinai was also present for my surgery, so I was doubly blessed in terms of highly skilled surgeons. I was not connected officially with this community prior to my surgery, but I am happy to be plugged in now. I want to share that the main reason I decided to do cardiac rehab was because of your testimonial about the benefits. I agree wholeheartedly that everyone should consider giving it a try. While it seems it is not heavily promoted for valve repair patients, cardiac rehab was a game changer for my recovery.
