Good Morning Gay
Just came across your entries for you Dad. He sounds like a super man and father. Hope each day is better than the one before. Is the puppy his idea or yours? Assume there'll be someone to walk it in the snowy weather? Am sure you've thought this all out. We lived in Chagrin Falls many years ago and remember all the snow. My upcoming surgery will also be at the Cleveland Clinic next moth but will be traveling from FL. Keep posting so we know how great he's doing.
Great healing idea for Boles to get the puppy. They will become great friends. Wishing him much luck with all the therapies and hopefully soon he will begin to see the fruits of his labour. In the meantime I'll keep him in my prayers. Cheryl, Ontario
It's great that you are documenting your Dad's recovery. This site has been such a tremendous help to me in the lead up to my surgery - even when I read stuff and go 'noooooo waaaaay'. I know that it will help me to stay upbeat through my recovery and I know that it will help my daughter and my husband when they are updating for me (just for a day or two) and read other peoples journals. Thinking of you both and wishing Boles a speedy recovery.
It's good to hear Boles made it through the surgery okay except for the Afib. That's not all that unusual and with a little tweaking, they'll eventually get him on his feet and out the door. Even the possibility of some memory loss isn't all that unusual. Hopefully soon enough things will start coming back and you'll get him home. Give him my best. I'll be praying for his speedy recovery. Cheryl, Ontario
