Larry Peterson Good luck to you both, Alain and Jacquelyn! I had OHS to replace my aortic valve and replace a section of my aorta last November 30. First two months after surgery are rough, mainly because of poor sleep and inability to use arms (assuming you have a sternotomy like I did- aneurysm usually requires this). I feel very good now - eating healthy and taking long walks. Your surgeons will take good care of you.

Mark Fetheroff It's alot to digest. I had that same surgery last June, I was 39 years old at the time, otherwise healthy and I had 0 symptoms which was the hardest part I had to wrap my head around. The size of the aneurysm was concerning to the doctors so we took care of that. Please feel free to reach out with any questions moving forward, Good Luck!
