I had my Angiogram on Feb 18 . All went smoothly and, as the young Doctor said, my arteries are “Gorgeous”. Good to know as this is one less thing to consider at the time of my Mitral and Tricuspid Valve repairs. I have now received my surgery date which is Monday March 16 so everything is becoming more real now. Keeping up my walking and yoga-meditation to prepare myself physically and mentally. Keeping busy. My son is arriving from Alberta a few days before and grateful to have wonderful support and encouragement from my family and friends.

Prepare and freeze your favorite meals....they’ll be enticing when your appetite wanes. Family and friends are so important! Best wishes for a great recovery!

Susan Lynn Jo - You're in the perfect state of mind - exactly where you should be with a couple of weeks to go! My twin came in from Newport Beach to be with me for my surgery and I was so thrilled to have her visiting, my recovery was a non-event Look forward to the time you'll have with your son.

I met with my Surgeon Dr. David for the first time last week-January 23. I learned that I will require Mitral Valve and tricuspid valve repair. I am awaiting the Angiogram appointment. Apparently the TEE will not be done ahead of surgery date. All of this is daunting to say the least and lots to get my head around. The surgery will possibly be scheduled for March.
