About Me (In My Own Words)
I was first detected with a heart murmur in February 2023 during my annual physical with my Primary Care Physician. Further tests resulted in diagnosis of mitral valve pro-lapse and severe mitral regurgitation in March 2023. Carefully monitored for next 12 months. In February 2024, my doctors and I made decision to proceed the repair. More tests showed that I would be able to undergo minimally invasive valve repair surgery method now scheduled for April 30, 2024.
