I was diagnosed with aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation. When I scheduled tge surgery and went in for some pre-operative testing they discovered that I also had a Mobitz Type II Heart Block, that would require a pacemaker. Because of potential complication the concensus was to move up the valve replacement surgery and install the pacemaker while I was still in the hospital recovering. My surgery is now scheduledfor next week.
