Bob Defalco Sr hi Emily, i had the same surgery as you on 12-22. plus 1 artery by-pass. I'm a month passed and here to tell you that you will be fine and feeling better in no time. when u get home do a little walking, it really makes you mend faster and feel better. good luck

Emily, God will be with you and your family. I had this surgery 13 months ago at age 56. My coworker had aorta valve surgery in her young 20s two years ago. Take 1 day at a time. And don't overdo it evendors if you think you can.
