Hi my name is Ray,
After reading many of the post on this site I feel comfortable in asking how many folks have had a TAVR procedure done and what should I be concerned about.
After having my latest echo cardiogram performed I was told that my AVA is 0.4 along with a mean gradient of 58 and that my left ventricle size is normal with an estimate ejection fraction between 60-65%.
I am almost 81 years old, asymptomatic with aortic stenosis.
I would welcome any feedback.
Thank you in advance.

Marie Myers A friend and colleague of many years had TAVR at age 97 . It relieved her chest pain and shortness of breath immediately.i believe she was in the hospital for 3 days for the procedure. She lived another 4 years, still symptom free, and she considered it a good decision at the time!
Rose Madura My aunt had a TAVR at age 75 and she's 81 now and doing great.
ray weaver Thank you Marie and Rose for your feed back,
