I am scheduled for open heart surgery for mvp repair on July 15 in New York City. I am 71 years young, have COPD and Osteoporosis, The only medication I take is one baby aspirin per day and vitamin supplements. My question is, how , if at all, can the osteoporosis affect the recovery Process such as length of time, severity Of pain, etc
