Starting laundry with Mom's help, got "affairs" in order, and trying to pack as little as possible, but still be prepared. I am starting to find that peace now, and so seems Mark! Of course, that will change a thousand times before Monday afternoon, and surgery if it is to happen there! Thank goodness for the book, and all of my highlighted areas! Thanks everyone for all of the prayers and well wishes! Love you all!
I know about the post-operative cardiac depression...

...but what about the pre-operative cardiac depression? Most days I find myself OK, but with each day and the loss of strength, my mood typically gets lower. If it weren't for my support group and family, I would really be in the pits!
I am thinking that my lack of energy and lack of ability to motivate as I once did (90 mph) is most likely a factor. Ideas?
My husband Mark and I will be leaving Sunday am (11-08-09) to travel to VA for the Monday Appointment. To complicate things, I fell last week and broke my leg. It's not a bad break, and I can walk on it with a lace up splint, so that coupled with a leg brace I am already wearing, will make me look really attractive to meet the good doctor.
