Hi everyone! I'm here for my husband.He is 32. He had two stents placed in 2008 for coarctation of his descending aorta. Then in November we were told his aortic valve wasn't working well and his left ventricle was enlarging again. So January 9th he had his valve replaced with a On -x mechanical valve. He is doing great! But the reason I joined this site is because the last 4-5 months he has episodes were he gets a funny taste in his mouth/blurry vision or a funny taste in his mouth/numbness on one side of his gums and mouth. He says this only lasts a couple of minutes. Does anyone else have similar problems? He has had a bunch of lab work and it's normal. He is scheduled for an MRI next week. He also is having "post pump syndrome" symptoms.
