Good luck with everything next week! The primary issue with arm movement is the you won’t be able to reach to your sides or above your shoulders for several weeks. This is to prevent you from injuring the sternum as it heals. It’s a good idea to have things at a lower level so no reaching is required.

Mike Roskowinski Hello Deirdre - Yes you will just as Judy says. They want to prevent injuries to the sternum and also your incisions from ripping open. Also you will be on a lifting restriction of no more than 10 pounds for 12 weeks. Hope that helps
