Marie Myers I am sorry this has happened to you. Have you seen a hand specialist? Nerve damage from positioning during surgery does occasionally happen, and many times it does get better.

Adam Baumgartner Same thing for me, only my left hand. My middle, pointer, and thumb were/are numb. I saw a neurologist. They did a nerve test and said not much damage and told me to wear a wrist brace. Not much help. It's been almost 9 months since my surgery. Over the last 6 weeks though I have been getting red light therapy (photobiomodulation) and it seems to be doing wonders. I did the first month at my chiropractor (about $15 per session - insurance wont cover) it took about 2 weeks/6 sessions to really notice lasting results. Now I bought a device for about $70 on Amazon and do it myself. My fingers now feel normal more often than not. Red light therapy is not medically endorsed but I swear by it and a lot of NFL teams use it to aid recovery. Might be worth a try. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Good luck.
