I have Mitral Valve Stenosis with Annular Calcification, moderate MR and enlarged LA. I also have Atrial Filbaration. The opening of valve is 1.3 cm. Though I have no symptoms, no breathlessness, I walk about 6 kms and do light exercises , I have been advised to go for replacement. I wish to know whether I can go for TMVR considering the MAC. If it is not possible, then pl suggest good surgeon in USA for Mitral Valve Replacement

Thomas Brusstar Cleveland Clinic is certainly a good bet. I had my mitral valve repaired by Patrick McCarthy at Northwestern Memorial here in Chicago. It is also a big heart center, and my valve is still not leaking at all almost 5 years later. My LA was very enlarged also. Right now your heart is working overtime to make up for the regurgitation. The sooner you get this fixed, the better for your heart.
