About Me (In My Own Words)

As a 60 year old, I am straddling the line of recommendations for valve choice: 60yrs and under are generally counseled to go with a mechanical valve. Those over 65yrs are generally counseled to go with a bioprosthetic valve. My doctors say the decision is totally mine. Since I am straddling this line for recommendation, I am straddling the fence in my decision making.
