About Me (In My Own Words)
Tyler is 15, soon to be 16. He is scheduled for surgery March 5, 6 days before his 16th birthday. He's got a bicuspid aortic valve with stenosis, and the mitral regurgitation. He was born with this, and we've had visits once a year every year. This year he started having chest pain, along with getting tired quicker after activities, and just not feeling well. In our visit, we found out that his stenosis is about 70%, and we're all in agreement that it's time for surgery.
