About Me (In My Own Words)
The story starts at the ER when I arrived with flue like symptoms. I am a 58 yr old active male with no symptoms I could recognize. In trying to find out what I had, heart scans showed I had severe stenosis of aortic valve. It turned out I had a vividens streppoccous blood infection and the cardiologist said I would need to fix my heart soon. He had told me to see him after my infection treatment had been completed and so I did about 8 weeks later. An echo-cardiogram at his office reconfirmed to him that I need this done. This is when I started my investigation of that idea. YIKES, this is the first time I have been afraid enough to feel emotional. It is starting to sink in. I ordered Asam's book. It was easy reading and quick. Thanks Adam for your effort! I wish you many successes with your effort. So now a better search is initiated because of him and the start of my journal begins today.
