About Me (In My Own Words)
I am the wife & caregiver of the patient. Diagnosis was made 15 years ago. Was born with an abnormal valve. Have been monitored yearly by an aortic specialist with echos. A few months ago started having lung issues, tiredness, & chest pain. Surgeon said, “it was time”.
2 weeks in hospital, with Afib complications. Had cardio-conversion with electro-physiology. Meds did not work. Discharge yesterday 10/3.
(Reminder: I am wife of patient.)
Tremendous exhaustion, can’t get/stay asleep, winded/cough with simply talking, & walking. Additional pain in hip, back, arm & fingers.
Visiting nurse scheduled today
