About Me (In My Own Words)
Went to the emergency room with angina that did not go away after about 15 minutes and could not walk it off.
Was diagnosed with blocked arteries and a regurgitating mitral valve. I received a quadruple bypass, a mitral valve replacement and a pacemaker implanted in my left ventricle.
Right now, I am taking it slow to heal over the next several months and resume my daily activities in the Spring 2022. I will start cardio rehab in January. I also retired (again) from my part-time job as a tax preparer/Enrolled Agent for H&R Block, where I have been working for 25 years. I retired from the FAA in 2009.
