About Me (In My Own Words)
I’m a 72 yr old male. My story is not dramatic but I wanted to join this community after seeing and reading so many stories on this website an on YouTube.
Three years ago I found out that I had a heart murmur. I was referred to a cardiologist who performed all of the usual tests. My symptoms were shortness of breath, dizziness and some angina.
Bottom line, I have been diagnosed with mild to moderate aortic stenosis, and coronary artery disease. The most recent calcium score was just under 800. My cardiologist has been very aggressive with testing and also with ruling out other possible causes for my symptoms. For now, we are monitoring the progression, if any.
