About Me (In My Own Words)
Rheumatic fever at 7 years caused damaged valves. Became sick, tired and weak. Had thoracotomy /minimally invasive mitral valve replacement in August at 47. Easier recovery than expected, but still hard and a lot of pain. I am still having severe pain (is now Jan) in my right side around and below the incision site and left breast tissue is numb and without feeling.
