About Me (In My Own Words)

In Nov 2021, I was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve that had prolapsed. I underwent an open heart surgery to get the valve replaced in Dec 2021.

I got a bioprosthetic valve to replace my bicuspid aortic valve.

I’m 43 years old, I got the heart surgery when I was 41.

I’m looking to discuss with fellow patients who can understand and relate to what I’m going through.
